I consider myself gothic and I always have, but in the last year my parents
have thrown most of my gothic clothing. I have managed to save my favorite
Kurt Cobain shirt, my pink arm hose, my pentacle and some make up. I
understand that gothic people usually dress in all black and have fucked up
hair colors and all that other stuff, but does not wearing all that make me
less then the ones who do? I don’t think so but my opinion doesn’t always
matter. I look at the inside of a goth, see if there is the goth in there
soul.
That’s were it should lie, not in there clothes. I bring this topic to you
all to see were all of you stand. If you met me and said I no words at all
I wonder if you would be able to tell. I don’t really wear being gothic as
a badge anymore I let people find it out on there own, it makes it more fun
to watch them gasp. Coming from a very small school in the middle of
nowhere, gothic is like a sin. They (the school) consider me the ringleader
of all the trouble in the school. If only they could open the feeble minds
of the school and the world they would see that there precious jocks are
the ones to blame. I may be goth but I try my best to be a good student
even though I suck ass at English and always am I frowned upon. I am
getting off of my subject; I want to know what the respectable voices of
Shmeng have to say.
What do you think makes a goth gothic?

When I was around seven years old, the other children and I would sing:
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man
I live in a garbage can
I turned on the heater
and blew off my peter
I'm popeye the wankless man
Good times, good times. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

'I'm popeye the sailor man,
I live in a grabage can,
I lit up some gas,
And blew up my ass,
Now I'm popeye the undead man.'
That's all I needed to put forth on this cartoon. ____________________ I have one big yellow furry monkey ball.....yellow furry monkey

It was Olive that bothered me. "Popeyeeeeeee" she sounded like the teacher
from Jimmy Neutron except worse. I didn't mind until the end, when she was
kidnapped by Bluto.... I have too much time on my hands... ____________________ "Pity no one was there

I think I am goth, and personally I don't give a shit about what other
people think.
I get called a freak all the time, and i give it right back.......I love
being goth, and I love the way I am. Yeah it's not accepted widley, but it
will never stop me. I like being a minority of society. Anyone agree?????

Ah I just try not to worry about what other people do. I dont think people
should be judged by the clothes they wear...I think they should be judged
by the clothes they wear and what they think their clothes mean, because
this in my opinion is how one can tell what that person is like on the
inside. If a person can spend well over 100 dollars on clothes at hot
topic, then they could surely put up the money to buy some clothes from a
gothic clothing store..so go figure. Well thats my two cents on the
clothes issue...haha |

Hey bettie, it would be awesome if we could find a girly G.I. Joe. You
know, it would be cruel if you taught your kids that down was up and up was
down. I was just thinking about that. And why is it that people make up
all these odd names like "Basil Wrathebone" and..other things along that
line. ____________________ "Pity no one was there

I say that it is time to cut this topic short. There are truly better
things to do than sit around arguing about this. I do have one thing to
say though, goths are not always sad. That is that. Good day. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I

I think perhaps people spend WAAAAAAY too much time thinking about things
like this......why bother? It's endless, it won't affect your life if you
"figure it out"...and there's nothing really TO figure out...all in all
it's nothing more than a friggin SCENE...just like all the other ones out
there...no more or less special.
I'd much rather spend my time trying to find a GI JOE that cries out in a
girly voice "Let's go SHOPPING!"
Bah...hill of beans. Simple way to deal with questions if they are asked
of you is to tell them to shut up and mind their beezewax. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Are you saying that goths can't be happy? *snorts with laughter* okay,
depression is a chemical imbalance, not a fad. Who's to say what's goth
and what's not anyway? No one really is. But I suppose that was all in
your opinion, as everyone else who has written what goth is and isn’t
in their opinion. Whatever floats your boat. ____________________ "Pity no one was there
