There is an American Reality tv show called Trading Spaces which was
created after Changing Rooms on BBC, so America is copying too. I love
Changing Rooms and Ground Force. I miss BBCAmerica. I also miss AbFab,
Keeping Up Appearances, Father Ted, and Hamish Macbeth.

Yeah, that and how under Greg Dyke the Beeb wn't allowed a sense of humour.
It still hasn't got one. I guess it still puts out the odd great comedy
occasionally, like the Office.
Channel 4 is better though- Black Books, Brass Eye etc

I thought Father Ted was a C4 production? Maybe they sold it to BBCAmerica
or something.

I'm not quite sure, but I think I saw it on BBCAmerica. I do know I saw it
on WEDU (llittle learning channel not lots of people watch but they do show
Sesamee Street and some other kick ass shows). I thought I saw it on
BBCAmerica though. If not, I am sorry. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

Is "Waiting for God" on BBC or Channel 4? I saw it on a PBS affiliate along
with "As Time Goes By" when I was growing up and haven't seen it for a
while. If it was BBC I have hope of seeing it again. ____________________ Sanity is both highly subjective and highly overrated. |

That was on the BBC, so you won't see it again I guess.

oh come on, give the guy a break. i know that that was just friendly advice
but is it likely that it was intended seriously in any way shape or form?
it was just a little jibe, not really a liberty taken and hardly even a
scratch of the soul, let alone an emotionally scarring attack. he even put
a little smiley sticking out tongue face thingy.

i have no problem with a good bashing, either to me or to anyone else,
provided it is deserved. i recognised that you were being nice and gentle,
but was there really a need? it was hardly trollish and barely even
abusive.
this thing about having to be established before being allowed to
shit-sling in jest or not is fair enough, but i feel it is taking it too
far to warn someone, even gently as you did, for something like that. its
not the sort of jibe that many would balk at pitching to a new acquaintance
and as such i didnt think that it was out of line there. ____________________ Eritis sicut Deus scientes bonum et malum.

In a word... yes...
No offense... but I have my reasons for everything I do... and I can back
them up... the comment was shmengy... plain and simple... and that was not
the intent... then I addressed it properly... if that WAS the intent...
then i addressed it properly as wel...now bugger off...
