Things have been pretty dead around here. Too dead... Damnit people, pull
your braiins out of thaat dusty closet you've been keeping them in nd lets
get back to work. I have several submissions I'll be sending in within the
week or so as soon as i clean them up. (a year as a truck driver gives you
a lot of time to think) Anyway, i know you all will get tired of me
rambling so for those of you who CAN write and just haven't..... WHACK!!!

I've got an idea for an article, I just have to figure out how to piece it
together.

I certainly hope not.

I'm sick of hearing this "Shmeng is dead" business. Honestly, it sounds
like Chicken Little. All right so Shmeng is not as vibrant as it once was,
but it’s certainly not dead. The as of late slow pace of Shmeng is
considerably faster compared to the slow pace of other web sites I have a
member of. Yes, really I have been to sites where there would be only one
reply in a span of two weeks. These days Shmeng is slow not because of
apathy, but because of.. well.. life in general. Be it babies, college,
high school, jobs, moving, family, etc.. Oh and of course the slowness
could be because of the site's obscurity. Don’t worry so much; I remember
my first couple of times here before I became a member, and it was not the
flurry of activity you’ve familiared your selves with. Can anyone else
remember those days when the forums were barely in use? So, until our lives
converge again, like the planets aligning, I guess we should just learn to
deal with the sluggishness.

Just because it's quiet, doesn't mean it's dead. Frankly, I rather prefer a
bit of quiet than some of the snarky trollers who flounce about offering
nothing but leet-speak headaches for people who appreciate a properly
constructed sentence. Seems to me that the point of shmeng was to establish
a community, and it has. Just because the community doesn't flaunt its
every nuance on a computer monitor for EVERYBODY to read, doesn't mean that
the relationships and interactions that started here have fizzled away.
Sometimes people aren't able to spend lots of time online. Maybe they've
been redesigning their apartments, or having job related time demands, or
they have one year olds with sharp pointy teeth and no sense of proper bed
times. Whatever the reason, they just can't don't have the free time and
energy to crack out an article. And you know what? That's cool. Sooner or
later, someone will find the time to put out something awesome. And in the
meanwhile, a quick personal note here, and little note in the box there;
sometimes, it's more than enough to know that the friends you've made are
doing well, rather than having an article on the front page to dissect.
...And dammit, I totally grabbed my ass on friday.

Woohoo! Grabbing your own ass is a good thing. I'm glad someone actually
did it. I hope it helped remind you that something is back there and made
you feel a little sexier that day.

Yay, I got a fairly consistant access to the internet and such just
recently...woot. I guess I could assist as best I can in whatever tent-born
baptist-frenzied bloodbath of gore and sexual fluids we'd like to term a
"revival"
Personally, I think there are many fun things you can do with a corpse.

Well I would love to post some pictures of my own art and of my self but I
was having trouble. Is there any way that some one can help me out?
I wish I was creative enough to write something, but I really can't think
of anything other than the problems of real life. I don't think that any
one would like to hear about my bills, broken leg issue, or the baby
squirrel that I have that completely dictates my life. I have to work my
schedual arround a 4 week old squirrel that has to eat every 3-4 hours. So
things haven't been that much fun for the past week.

Actually, I grab my own ass pretty much on a daily basis...it makes me
happy. I'm just glad that someone finally decided there should be a whole
day devoted to that activity and the rest of the world can share the joy of
personal ass-grabbing. Kudos to MRD for the idea!
dude...mrd... I dont' feel like a COMPELETE tard now that I know other
people engage in one man games of Grab Ass. My ass is it's own entity, and
I spend all day smacking it, ramming things with it, and using it for the
good of mankind. Someone should start an initiative, you know, one of
those obscure holidays you see and think "hm. I think I'll give it a try."
Good on ya!
