will too.

Have fun, Feral! My dad was a trucker for a while. I always thought it
looked like fun - just me, my truck, and the open road... and no menopausal
women in clean room suits... *mourns her dismal factory job*

Damn, I always wanted to be a trucker. Man, I can stil see myself as a
trucker too. Maybe when I get tired of teaching as a gig I can finally get
on the road for real.
Good luck, at least bring your camera, lots of interesting things to photo
when you have time.

Farewell good Feral, you princes of Maine, you kings of New York! And may
the wind always be at your side, the sun always cool and bright, not in
your mirrors, but in your soul, and your heart, and may the mudflaps with
the two naked ladies always be shiny!
Those ladies being two, artisttically posed, voluptous women, that don't
fall into the norms of modern "Supermodel" beauty. You know, for style and
all. Eh, I'm sad inside.......

This is generally god advice for most people but in this case I feel I
should restate the obvious:
(1)Don't trust them, always wear protection.
(2)Demand proof of gender before paying.
(3)Never cut them a rail of yor personal stash.
Take care! ____________________

Feral: There are reasons underlying everything that happens. Wait and
see... this might all be for the best. And if you ever try to feed me my
own medicine regarding that advice, somebody is going to get hurt. Anyway,
for purely selfish reasons, I'm glad that you're still with us for the time
being.
Squid:I disagree with bit o' advice number 2. Once your money is on the
table, any surprises regarding gender should be viewed as a bonus.

Feral: Glad you're back in MO, but sorry it's for that reason.
Is your diabetes uncontrolled? If it is controlled, they need to take
another look at hiring laws regarding people with controlled metabolic
disorders. If it was epilepsy, controlled or otherwise, them failing you
on the physical would have made a bit moreo sense.
Anyway, good luck and good health to you.

Cygnet: this is the first I've heard of having diabetes... and federal law
states that no one that needs insulin may obtain a CDL ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.

Sorry to hear about the diabetes. It takes a bit of getting used to doing
things differently, but I've adjusted pretty well to things, and I'm sure
you will also. Hopefully you will never need to take insulin. ____________________ "When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've

Feral, that makes no sense.
And, again, bummer.
That's the first I've heard on discrimination against diabetics. Oddly
enough, I've known some diabetic truck drivers. That's so weird. If it's
controlled, it takes an act of God to go into a diabetic coma or have
seizuers related to diabetes.

Also..think about this... these laws came to be back in the 50s... when it
was not a science like today...
