Anyone evver started thinking about some weird bullshit thing like:
What if erey soloarsystem really is an atom in another world/dimension?
and ervery atom in this world is really a solar system in another
world/dimension?
Any other? ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against atheists.

macrocosm and microcosm... it could be worse... what if all of us were just
part of the dream of another... or what if I am simply the expression of a
collapsing quantum wave of probability? ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.

Seriously, though, I sometimes feel like I'm a figment of someone else's
twisted imagination.
I also find myself agreeing with Depeche Mode's "Blasphemous Rumours." God
or whatever does seem to have a sense of humor; why else would things be as
they are?

I don't think that's a weird philosophical thought. I think that's in the
introduction to smoking pot book. One of those things that every room full
of stoners will eventually talk about if left there long enough.
There's a very cool video sequence illustrating it at the end (or
beginning?) of the movie Men in Black ____________________ So Sayeth Me |

Ever since I resolved the Chicken and the Egg problem there are no longer
weird philosophies to me. I have trascended to a nirvana-like state from
where I can contemplate all those things form an extradimensional reality,
realising their inerent simplicity.
However, there is still only thing that mistifies me. Time and Space are
part of the Creation. God exists outside the creation- Therefore God exists
outside time. What's more, God created time. What's an existance without
time like? |

So, who came first?
An existence outside time, would in my eyes be chaotic, as without time
there would be no connection between action and consequence. The
consequenceses might com before the action, or.....
Wait a minute?? I'm fucking up my own logic here... ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against atheists.

One, "Time is an abstarct concept created by carbon based life forms to
monitor thier rate of decay." -Thundercles
Two, to live out side of time would be a paradox.
Three, out side the "creation" would be a void.
Four, the void is nothingness and everything all at once, therefore the
void is paradox and rendered void.

grendel, yu are speaking as if the nature of the universe is based on more
than the random actions of collapsing waves of quantum probability... by
assuming that... you negate the possibility (mathematically) of free
will... are you willing to take that step?

You should check out the book/video/website "Powers of 10." It
photographically represents exponential growth starting with 10 to 0th
power meters (one) up to 10 to the +25 power meters (a billion light
years), down to 10 to the -18th power meters (.001 fermis, whatever that
is!). So basically the photos start with a person at a picnic, range up to
a photo of the Virgo Supercluster of galaxies, and down to a shot of
1/100th of a proton, like quark level. It's crazy to see structural patters
emerge, disappear, and re-emerge at much smaller or larger scales.
I'm a visual thinker...this really helps to put it into somewhat of a
perspective. The website is good, but the video is better because the
images are also linked by a timescale.

Going on that has annyone ever wondered if our universe is it self a living
organism of sorts? Think about it our universe is presently growing,
epanding with increased dark matter, and anti-gravity. It consums matter
ie: black holes, quasars. It exspelles matter ie: white holes. It moves;
well the matter in side it does. Its like fire, it has all the
qualifications for life except its not made of cells. Perhap its all a joke
the cosmic trickster is playing on us. ____________________ co-worker: "Your gay!?"

hmm.. I wasn't thinking mathematiacally, and have absoolutly NO idea about
quantum physics. But every action have consequences. And outside of time,
who can say what came first as it is time that sorts this?
When it comes to free will, as long as you keep to standard physics laws,
I'm frankly not quite sure. There are allways consequences. The only thing
you control is really how to react, not if you react, since ignoring
something is a conscious reaction in it self. ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against

that is assuming that time is a linear thing... but basic relativity states
taht it is not... froma quantum standpoint... all is perception... and
since memory alters perception, time is nothing more than a random
repetition of moments, sooooooo... outside of time does not exist... the
chicken willed itself to be... ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.

So we have now established that God exist outside of time, and that outside
of time does not exist. From this we can further conclude that God does not
exist, or am I missing something here? ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against
