Is it rude to point out to someone that Karma just bit them? I had an
experience recently where someone did something rather silly that upset
alot of people, and a few weeks later the same thing happened back at them,
only bigger and in a worse way. Would it be rude of me to sorta point it
out? Is that something a friend would do?

:snickers: I know this is going to sound really evil,,, but it serves them
right. I have an ... aquantance who last year spread around that a friend
had a nasty little std... which was untrue... and now, it turns out, this
year, she actually may have this same, nasty little std... to me, that is
poetic justice.... Man, karma can be a bitch....

I'd go for it...
Speaking of Karma, what would you call it when you would like to go back in
time and show your teenage self that, yes, it can and will get a hell of
lot worse?

This is one of those cases where you can do the same thing whether you like
them or not and it'll be the right thing. In either case, you should tell
them. If you like them, it's tuff love - and if you don't, it's milking
the irony. Both are nice and satisfying for you, either way it might help
them out. Good karma for you.
If they take it badly, that's their issue, not yours.

I think if handled tactfully, it's something a friend ought to do.
Especially if the person getting bitten by the Karma doesn't realize that's
what's happening. A good talk about it might help the person see why things
are happening, and also point out why the action that started it was a bad
thing. Sometimes people really don't see that what they do is wrong until
Karma points it out. Sometimes the one who points it out and offers sage
advice is a good friend...

I would point it out if they're whining about the Karmic backlash, but I
guess that's just me. It depends if the person is aware or not.
