when it comes to crying there are only a few things that can do that to me.
the country song where the little girl is in an abusive family and then her
dad kills her mom and then himself. then social services takes her and puts
her into a new family and she goes to sunday school for the first time and
looks at a statue or cross or something that has jeusus on it and ask who
it is, the sunday school teacher tells her and the little girl says that he
held her hand on the night her parents died while she was hiding behind the
couch.
the book Where the Red Fern Grows always made me cry i guess cause of the
dogs and the story behind it .
i don't really cry at movies but i did when i watched The Green Mile and I
Am Sam.
i also cry evertime i read the following:
My dreams are fulfilled
As I enter your guild
I’m happy to know
That even in falling snow
I will be here
And will have nothing to fear
Instead I can live out a live of contentment
But then a threat is sent
We have to fight
Or our enemies will possess our night.
But even as we battle our thoughts rest on our friends
And those we consider our kin
Then a sword sings out
And we feel the stab of doubt
We fear we will never see them
Just as the light begins to dim.
I shed a single tear from my open eyes
And my heart begins to die
Dies for those who will miss me
And more for those who have kissed me
I think of the ones I’ve loved
And the ones that have loved me in return
And as I die
I want them there, for their souls I yearn
But as I take a single last breathe
I see the one I love the most go to his own death.
I want to help him to go to his side
To tell him we’ll be okay and we no longer have to hide.
But as our gaze meets
And he struggles to his feet
I whisper his name
And realize it is the last time I will see him
Yet even with a last breath in my lungs
I can’t bring myself to tell him I love him.
So as he cries over my lifeless body
My soul leaves and whispers ‘I love you honey’
And he hears me, though I don’t know how and I don’t know why
I hear him say that he loves me too and that he’ll never leave me.
But as that final battle goes on a doctor finds him
And takes him from me
He says to that doctor ‘can you save her?’
But the doctor responds ‘she is in a sleep of peace’
And they leave me there to rot and die
But I’m afraid that there is where I still lie.
The battlefield of my death
Is now a school for the blessed.
Artists, poets, writers, sculptors and more
Come to this one door
Then I sense a presence long lost
And I swear he stood there, covered in frost.
“How long had he walked?”
But I saw his grave, marked.
How could he be here?
Standing in front of me, right there
I must be dreaming
But then he stops next to the school,
Where he last told me that he loved me
I think to myself, “is this really my beloved fool?”
Then he kneeled and whispered words too quiet to hear
But his love was all around me and it was all I could feel.
He said he loved my for one last time
And I shared with him that love of mine,
He went away to find a new love
But he knew I was with the white dove
And would look down at him everyday
And we both know what I would say
A simple whisper, just a breath or two
The words would escape….”I love you”
the really sad thing, i guess you could say, is that i wrote it and it
still gets me everytime

sorry, the anonymous post was me, i had forgotten to log in
Tom Waits "coney island girl". Doesn't make me cry, but just sort of puts
me all in that wierd not sad but low mood, but not in a bad way.
The WIERDEST thing that ever made me cry was the ending to an old cartoon
movie called "the last unicorn". That big red flaming devil bull always
scared the honkey right out of me, but the last part where all the unicorns
an evil old man kept prison in the sea are set free, and the "last unicorn"
follows them into the woods used to put me so far into a crying fit my mom
threw the tape away *lol*
Oh, and also when dorothy left her talking chicken behind in "return to
oz"....god I was a sap when I was little...

Maybe it's just old age getting to me(HA!) but now when i go out to watch
water I always seem to be working hard to stifle tears. Ocean, rivers,
lakes... Tides just get to me.

Oh god I havent seen that movie in forever, but it is defiently sad!!
Another thing that makes me cry sometimes is Leonard Skynard's
Freebird....that song chokes me up!!
Oh man all those poor unicorns trapped in the sea by that greedy old man
*sniffle*
It's a bizarre movie...the last unicorn is in a sort of
prison/circuis/sideshow with an old gypsy type person, escapes with the
help of a young man, turns herself into a girl and they go to find where
the rest of her kind are, and they discover a greedy old man in a tower by
the sea trapped them all to keep them for himself, and there's this big red
flaming giant bull that protects the secret passage that would lead them to
the unicorns, and this wierd talking skeleton that demands they give him
wine....WIERD movie.
I was WAY little the last time I saw it, but I caught a little of it years
ago on cable somewhere and was like WOAH! Then all the unicorns go free
and the last unicorn leaves the boy she loves to join the others and I was
all like WAAAAAAHHHHHH at the end of it AGAIN! As an ADULT!
Know what else makes me cry? When people sing, poorly, loudly, over the
music in their earphones.

Animal cruelty gets me in a very deep way. I have to take a deep breath
every time I get ready to turn a page in the PETA magazine I get, just to
get through the whole magazine. Most of the HSUS literature does the same
thing to me. I am not saying that I expect the world to immediately become
vegetarian, but at least there should be some enforceable humane
proceedures for the slaughterhouses, factory farms, etc. to minimize the
suffering involved. It breaks my heart every time I see certain recurring
photos and stories in the magazines. I would explain a few that hit me the
worst, but I am not wanting to go to sleep in tears tonight.

*eats some chicken*
I feel bad for those plants, so many die in the name of food.
The thing that makes me cry is the movie The Fox and the Hound .

Yeah, but it can make geezers cry like little girls, or people who read
Calvin and Hobbes and still cry. Might just be me though.

Nah Comedian..it's not just you. Folk songs can get to me too if I'm in the
right state of mind and all. Puff the Magic Dragon, Diamonds and Rust, The
Sound of Silence, and The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald all fall into that
same category. If timed right, they can be tear creators.

ooo the sound of silence has always been one of my fav songs in the world.
You should hear the Nevermore cover of it ...not nearly as good, but not
bad either.
