The subject says it all. What would you consider your core beliefs? What
do you take as already established, as a foundation to build the rest of
your life on?
To start it out, here are mine.
1. No one owes me anything. Not niceness, not help, not happiness, not
anything. I could rot in a gutter and no one needs to help me. It's no
one's problem but mine.
2. If someone does give me something, it is to be highly honored, because
they don't have to do it. From a quarter in a beggar's cup, to a lifetime
of love and support, to basic respect or value, all forms of unforced
giving should be acknowledged and honored whenever possible.
3. There is no such thing as negative, unless I decide to make it so. I am
not a victim unless I decide to be. Pain can make me stronger. Hardship
can make me richer. Everything is to embraced as a gift. Even deliberate
attack, because it can teach me to guard and to evade.
4. Truth is always to be embraced, no matter how it hurts. Truth is even
to be embraced when it is dealt with the intent to hurt. Cowardice in the
face of truth is always detrimental.
5. Under no circumstances do I want to control the thoughts or actions of
another person. That is none of my business. By the same token, I do not
accept control by anyone. That is none of their business. If I don't like
you, I will go elsewhere, and if you do not like me, you can do the
same.
6. Life is good and I embrace it and revel in it.
What about you? I am interested to know what others think along these
lines, and also what others think of my points. All forms of input are
welcomed.

you take as already established, as a foundation to build the rest of your
life on?
To start it out, here are mine.
1. No one owes me anything. Not niceness, not help, not happiness, not
anything. I could rot in a gutter and no one needs to help me. It's no

----um true No one owes anyone anything, I was raised to be nice and I like
it too, , Happiness comes from within, i don't know , I try to help others
but if they don't want help i will leave them alone, ---
2. If someone does give me something, it is to be highly honored, because
they don't have to do it. From a quarter in a beggar's cup, to a lifetime
of love and support, to basic respect or value, all forms of unforced
giving should be acknowledged and honored whenever possible.
---that is true, giving people something should be honored, it doesn't
matter what it is----
3. There is no such thing as negative, unless I decide to make it so. I am
not a victim unless I decide to be. Pain can make me stronger. Hardship can
make me richer. Everything is to embraced as a gift. Even deliberate
attack, because it can teach me to guard and to evade.
---true, there is nothing positive or negative just what our thinking makes
it so,, sometimes pain makes you stronger but sometimes pain can destroy
you too.
4. Truth is always to be embraced, no matter how it hurts. Truth is even to
be embraced when it is dealt with the intent to hurt. Cowardice in the face
of truth is always detrimental.
---that is true, ---
5. Under no circumstances do I want to control the thoughts or actions of
another person. That is none of my business. By the same token, I do not
accept control by anyone. That is none of their business. If I don't like
you, I will go elsewhere, and if you do not like me, you can do the
same.
---most definately true, I don't want to control others at all, I know
they are on a different level, nor higher nor lower than me, but on a
different level
6. Life is good and I embrace it and revel in it.
---for tthe most part, but I won't deny there is suffering in the world.
and I how I wish I could help, er darn Atlas complex
What about you? I am interested to know what others think along these
lines, and also what others think of my points. All forms of input are
welcomed.
---1. my mission in life is to learn and to help people that includes
myself by making people smile or laugh, making a better world, and finding
inner peace and beauty.
2.I love reading and thus I am always learning something, I am also working
on my issues
3.I help people by volunteering
4. I also help people by being open minded, I am empathetic and care about
people perhaps to my own determent People are frustrating and thus I always
fall in the trap of letting them make me angry and sad. I try to learn
about myself which is hard, since I am always changing and perhaps growing
a little more than i had yesterday.
4. Ihelp myself by being a good person
5. I make a better world by believing in imagination, which is the
foundation of my idealistic vision.
6. I make a better world by trying to find the truth, which is hard because
the truth doesn't sit still and very subjective. I make a better world by
being curious, I want to know, I am not sure why, but I do,
7. I make a better world by being an inspiration to people who want to
make the world better.
8. I make a better world by letting people be who they are.
9 Peace comes from within if you are really good you can transfer it to
another
10. I make a better world by being tolerant of people's beliefs and
Ideas
11. I will help you out if you are in trouble, because i have a noble
heart, it is hard to say what is the nature of me is. I question myself
like What am I doing here? Why do I not see such and such,?Maybe it's
because I'm not seeing from another angle like I should?
I am maternal and protective of the ostracized and anyone who is different,
sometimes I am accused of not playing well with others, but it is usually
for a higher purpose, most likely in honor of fairness, i like to take in
society's troubled people hoping my acceptance will help them
12. I believe in nonviolence
a little story about me, one time there was a goth who went to a wake, at
once the goth inspected the place, the goth spotted a chair, It was an
awesome chair!, the goth grabbed the nearest group of people and made them
look at the chair, the group was thrilled by the goths enthusiasm and
fascination and the goth's attitude was contagious, people started laughing
because they were reminded that it was little things that count, who knew
a chair could provoke such gratitude, the simple fact that they were alive
and living in the moment instead of dwelling on the negative. A reminder
that a wake/funeral is for people who are alive, we may honor the dead, the
good memories of them and that if you can get excited by a chair, you can
get excited about anything.
also some ramblings
Riley talking to Kurt, a wayward youth-you must find out were you went
wrong, i hope what you did sinks in, and try to rebuild yourself into a
better person, you're young, you have done something horrible, when you get
out, Let's hope you've learned something, we don't need anymore killers in
the world, you will have some guilt in the years ahead but don't let that
stop you from getting on with your life,
Suffering builds bridges between people, that when you hear someone tell
their story and you can say I feel your pain-that's so special.
anyway in this world you must make your own sparkles.
ok
talk to you laters

anything. I could rot in a gutter and no one needs to help me. It's no

True, No one that you don't know do not owe you anything, but you always do
need someone to be nice to you.
2. If someone does give me something, it is to be highly honored,
because they don't have to do it. From a quarter in a beggar's cup, to a
lifetime of love and support, to basic respect or value, all forms of
unforced giving should be acknowledged and honored whenever possible.
It is a smart thing to pay people their dues where they deserve it.
3. There is no such thing as negative, unless I decide to make it so.
I am not a victim unless I decide to be. Pain can make me stronger.
Hardship can make me richer. Everything is to embraced as a gift. Even
deliberate attack, because it can teach me to guard and to evade.
I think there can still be negative, because of the fact that other people
can choose to make it so.
4. Truth is always to be embraced, no matter how it hurts. Truth is
even to be embraced when it is dealt with the intent to hurt. Cowardice in
the face of truth is always detrimental.
That definitly works, Truth is the ultimate power.
5. Under no circumstances do I want to control the thoughts or actions
of another person. That is none of my business. By the same token, I do not
accept control by anyone. That is none of their business. If I don't like
you, I will go elsewhere, and if you do not like me, you can do the same.
Seems to have good standards too it, although the people that I do not like
I tend to let them know.
6. Life is good and I embrace it and revel in it.
Life is good, but it is hard.
It is better to revel in it, then live in misery I think.
