I have two tats, no good pictures, although the one on my arm I think shows
up a little in one of my more recent pictures here or something. It is
just simple black script, says "To know, to dare, to will, and to be
silent."
I have another one, but I think it's going bye-bye. And I kind of hope the
removal hurts - maybe even scars. I need a good, firm reminder of how NOT
to make decisions.

I've no tattoos and my only body mod to speak of is a nice scar I got from
giving myself an eyebrow ring (kids don't be as stupid as I was and try
that at home, as I got very lucky).
But I can appreciate the skin art of others, that is for damn sure.

Oh, I love your ink! The phoenix is gorgeous, and I spent a while
staring at the serpent. Did you have the shape it's curling itself around
done first? I ask because you can see the lines of it behind the serpent,
where it wraps over it. Not that that's a bad thing, it makes it look
interesting.
My mods (you've probably seen these before, but here's a chance to show
them off again): Pentacle Draco Tribal Flames

I posted my biggest one to the gallery awhile back...
I'm planning on getting an art nouveau style thigh band this winter,
although I don't have it completely planned out yet. Then the next one
after that will be a dance macabre style skeleton with irises, but I can't
decide where to put it.
I loooove tattoos.

Funky, I shall look forwards to seeing pictures of those when they're done!
I'm in love with tattoos as well, and have plans for more. Only problem is
that I can't draw at all, and so I'll have to give my tattooist very
specific instructions so he can sketch it out for me to look at before
getting it done.

I do love looking at other peoples skin art but I've come to a realization.
I will probably never had a tattoo. I think that sort of permanence, having
something inked into your body that will be lasting beyond that moment,
there, ever present. It takes a certain amount of will, clarity and liking
oneself where you are at to get ink. I don't know if I will ever get to the
point where I could be comfortable having something like that. Perhaps its
because I'm constantly changing and don't really know yet what I will
become.
I used to dream about having tattoos though. I thought they might represent
a change or control for me that my life didn't have. I wanted to have
something with growth, a vine that would snake around my leg. There were no
flowers on my vine, it just moved up my leg, towards my thigh and twirled
around itself to end, forever in a state of pre-bloom. I do still dream
about it sometimes...

Is it just me, or does this link not seem to work anymore?

definitely think the phoenix is my favorite. Let me know if your ever
desperate for some hosting space I could lend a few megs here and there.
