This is a quick overview of how moderating works on Shmeng. The idea is that since some comments are not worth reading, they should be moderated down so that only people who want to read everything can see them.

For people who have been selected as moderators, there is a little dropdown box under each comment. Just select what you think each comment should be moderated as, and when you get to the bottom of the page, press the moderate button.

At the beginning of the comments section of the page there is a dropdown box labelled Threshold. Just select how high something has to be moderated for you to see it and press refresh. You can set this for all articles in your account options under "Configure Comments".

The Threshold defaults to 0, so anything moderated to less than 0 won't be seen by most people.
