The Cheesecake Factory
There is a restaurant here in America named "The Cheesecake Factory". Now, the thing is, it isn't actually a cheesecake factory, but rather a nice restaurant. People can either wear their scrubbiest clothes and go have lunch or dinner, or wear their finery and have dinner there too. The menu is about a half an inch thick with many pages of tantalizing appetizers, soups, and salads. The main courses have such variety ranging from stereotypical Hawaiian cuisine, to Mexican and Italian. They also have the most amazing Orange Chicken in the world. The coating has a delectable little cruch with a very sweet and spicy orange sauce. The entrees are very well portioned, not some tiny dinner at a fifty dollar a plate eatery. Though they are not too big like at a well known Italian restaurant where each order can server 2-3 people and fill them. For dessert I reccomend a scrumptious slice of cheesecake. Two people can share, or if you have differing tastes, the menu has something for almost every cheese cake lover (only for those who can stomach dairy products). I highly reccomend the German chocolate cheesecake, the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, or a slice of original. Bon Apetite! Posted by MystryssRavynDarque on Nov 22, 2004 - 09:20 AM My score: Yes, The Cheesecake Factory does do to go on their entire menu of items, including cheesecake. The restaurant here is in a mall as well, but it really depends on the time of day that you go. If you go on a weekend during the middle of the day you are going to run into more kids, but if you go during the week at night you will have less bratty traffic. The place is set up so that both adults and kids can go and enjoy dinner but it has a more sophisticated air about it. Try going sometime, and if you don't like it you don't have to go again. Luckily it isn't one of those places you don't go try because you fear death from the food. You only have to fear the children if you go at the wrong time. You could possibly ask them to seat you somewhere a little more secluded or quiet as well. I have learned that when you are hosting you have to give into the customers needs, and so most places will to make the customer happy. |

Posted by daria_4 on Oct 10, 2004 - 05:50 PM My score: I have never been to a Cheesecake factory, not because I've heard bad things about the food--in fact, this review is the first thing I ever heard about the food.--but because all the tales I've heard about the place involve screaming kids. I'm sure it has more to do with the area each restaurant is in rather than the actual chain, but I usually don't feel like chancing it. The one I've seen here is in a mall, and there are usually more little ones in the place than I care to be around all at once. I guess that's what I get for spending whatever non-Shmeng time I'm online at the No Kidding! Message Boards. Do they do take-out? |
