Articles: A day at school
Posted by sk8er on Wednesday, January 08, 2003 - 12:00 PM PST

Icky People
I woke up alone in the football field from the prom last night. Someone brought a couple six packs and i got drunk and ended up doing one of the most preppy girls in the school.
A condom lay next to me and the slut even left a note for me, she said that she was disgusted with herself and the P.S. was: I had a good time.
I laughed at the stupid bimbo and got on my motorcycle and went home to eat.

Note: from ickgirl: the prom? in january? you may not have a big dick - but you sure are a dumbass.

Ok, I Think i know where this guy is comming from, so let me make something clear:

1. "Woke up alone" Meaning he woke up with jelly on his corn hole and his ass was aching.

2. "FootBall Field" meaning Front lawn.

3. "Six Packs" meaning O'Douls

4. "Condom" meaning used tissues

5. "Preppy girl" meaning the life size barbie doll

6. "Had a good time" meaning the doll didnt break this time.

7. "Motorcycle" meaning a Strawberry Short Cake Big Wheel

8. "Went home to eat" meaning he had mommy make him some pan-de-cakes.

9. "Prom" meaning blasting N'sync in his bedroom jumping on his bed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer sheets and comforter.

Come on people, we all remember these guys from high school...they where the ones that tried to hang out with the football team and tried to act tough, they only used him to make them selfs feel better. The poor soul who did drugs because he really DID think that it would make him cool.

Ahh...Memories

Question: If you're a "sk8er", why would you have a motorcycle? Come on "sk8er boi", you still skate while you have a motorcycle at home?

Oi vey, I won’t even bother to figure out what this guy’s shtick is...instead, I’ll point and laugh at him like Nelson Mumps off the Simpsons.

“Ha Ha!”

Time to go. Bye now!

Totally on the head with prom in january, Ick.
Why would a girl who'd fuck anyone on a football field bother to leave a note? Mighty considerate dumb sluts in that town, I'd say.
Disgusted with herself, but had a good time?
How did would anyone get drunk at a prom in january with how fucking insanely paranoid school admin is nowadays?
Let alone not notice sex, or a passed out hungover teenager, on a football field in the middle of january?

Oi vei is right....editors, darlings, dears, this would have been better saved for a multipost in the future, names removed, to protect the horridly, mutilatingly, and wretchedly misguided.

I wasn't even going to give this the dignity of a comment, but a message in the shoutbox told me to make it my punching bag and release my aggression...

I wasn't going to give this the dignity of a comment, but the random quote said "If you're going to be a lying fuck either do it well or give it up"...

I wasn't going to give this the dignity of a comment, but it keeps staring at me like some semiliterate raver wearing a "kick me" sign (resolve fading... I am weak)...

BLAH! Okay Sk8er... The only time anything in this profoundly sad little "article" ever happened was in your own addled imagination... probably while you were spending "quality time" with your family huddled in your trailer shaving each other's backs! Leave the "Penthouse Forum" style articles for someone who can make it past three sentences before they have to stop to change their tighty whiteys. You've very obviously been skating without a helmet if you expect us to believe that you drank enough to pass out and still managed to get a note from someone that was not expressing their condolences about your erectile dysfunction. Here's a tip: not everbody in the world is as gullible as your remedial classmates and even if our brain waves were mathematically straight lines (that would make us relatives, wouldn't it?) nobody here wants to listen to kiss-and-tell stories from people who think the height of romance is passing out in a puddle of their own sick after imaginary high school social functions. What were you hoping to achieve by sharing this pathetic fairy tale...? I think you should take your hand out of your pants and write an apology to everyone here for subjecting us to what can only be considered the literary equivalent of forgetting to flush. I am

Sometimes we don't have to write articles about how amazingly stupid people in the world can be.

Sometimes they come here and write about themselves.

I'm actually not sure I could have done this person justice if I was describing him - but he has given us all of the details we need in just a short paragraph.

Very eloquent if you ask me.

IS this guy even a real member? I find more anoying than anything that the guy has no explanation for this waste of space. (Actually It earks me that the Article I put in the same day didn't make it, but this did) Oh well. All I can say to Sk8er; Keep up the masterful prose, wimsical characters, and fantastic stories. I look forward to the days when we look back on our little lives and say "Wow, rememeber Sk8er. His enlightened us, bettered us, tought us fantastic things. Things like morality. Justice. Mans drive forward in life." Sk8er, you bring to mind the famous words of Hunter S. Thompson when he said "Fuck you you stupid fucking fuck!" Well he probably didn't say that, but it aplies, No? And I'm sure you've packed more drug abuse into your short existance than he ever did in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. People are entitled to say stupid things, I should know, thanks to freedom of speech (whatever that is..) but when it wastes the time and energy of me, the page, the webmasters, God when he inevitably smites you, and your own obviously worked-to-the-bone brain cells (all 27) It makes people sick.

P.S. One night stands may be over the next day, but herpes lasts a life time!

I woke up alone in the graveyard from the satanic ritual last night. Someone had bought a bottle of Absinthe and I got slightly intoxicated and ended up trying to quiet my alone, martiruzed soul with one of the most gothic girls in the Camarilla.
Means of contraception lay next to me, and the lady even left a note to me. She said she was disgusted with herself by having tried to fill the emptiness of her soul, to fight her extreme loneliness by having sex with me. She said she just fucked me but wanted more than sex, she wanted and needed love. The P.S. was: I had a good time. But this has made me realize how alone I am and how fruitless my efforts to share my soul will be. I am leaving this mortal flesh beyond me
I cried at the poor, tormented soul I had not been able to understand and nurture when that was exactly what my soul longed for. I wondered where her body would lay right now, and wether it would be too late or too early for some necrophylia. But I reopened my Baudelaire, and went back home to eat.

Hey man, if you're going to make something like that up, at least make it goth, you see?

Okay, Arthegarn inspired mee to re-write "A day at school" as I would have written it:

I awoke alone at the base the Sea of Reeds from the Ball on Norweigan Cruise Lines flagship last night. Some of the passengers had been quite intoxicated thus I was feeling the aftermath of their inibriation and ended-up mating with one of the most unfathomably beautiful mermaids in the sea.
A seashell lay next to mee and the maiden (no more) had left a note for mee, she stated that she was simply not fond of calamari and the PS was: tenticles can be interesting.
I laughed at the matter and began to swim home until I realized that male squid die shortly after mating and my doom was at hand!

(Arthegarn, Squid... you're both brilliant. If you can't stand 'em, fix 'em!)

Waking... cold... where am I...?

Oh, yes. The football field. It comes into focus and the memories of last night also flood into the animal land behind my eyes. The first rays of the new day cast a pink and purple luminescence onto the frost that covers the grass... that covers my naked form... that covers the... what's this...?

Oh, yes. The remains of the evening lay scattered around me. My clothes. I had to abandon them as I abandoned the last vestiges of that terrible and tenable humanity that I can never reconcile. But there was more... so much more. And there it was... on the frost covered grass lay the unassuming heap. Objects. Nothing more. Objects of my own creation. As my humanity left me... in my animal passion... I took the humanity of another. I fed my animal appetites from this willing object. And here lay the remains of that objectification. A condom and a note. What had my object left to say to me...?

"I had a very good time time. We need to talk."

I crumble the note that my object had left behind and gaze with animal curiosity at the footprints she had pressed into the frost as she departed. Talk...? Talk about what...? I was an animal. I fed. What could be left to say...?

I gather my clothes and dress myself to become superficially human once again. I fed in the night but was not sated... I know that I will have to return again to my den for a more mundane meal. I press the crumbled note into my pocket. I know that my object will expect me to call her now. I throw back my shaggy head and howl in rage at the heavens.

Why... why do they always want to talk about it afterwards...?

I woke up next to the sound of heavy breathing next to me. The darkness was starting to dissipate and I looked around, oh god, the football field, not the football field.

Yes, there he was the longhaired skater boy who I had thought an easy target the night before.. Of course, he would be. Still a child, pretending at being a man. He was perfect for me, for us, really. Only his innocence stood in the way of what would be done now. Next to me on the grass was a crumpled condom, the thing had been done.

I looked at the sleeping boy, still innocent really, not knowing or caring about what had been done to him. Perhaps he will think I am easy, he won't understand until it's to late. I sigh, what else can I do.

I pick myself up, where is my bag, ah, there on the grass. The frosty morning lawn crumples underfoot in the cold. I search through and find a pen. I find the paper, and I think to myself what to say.

This poor fool doesn't yet know what has been done to him, but there is no way to undo what has been done, he chose himself more than I chose him.

I'm sorry, I write, I shouldn't be ashamed. I hope you will be able to forgive me. I read what I have written and look at the golden haired boy. I realize he will never understand.

P.S. I write, I had a good time.

I sigh, and put on my shoes, kissing his little boy brow as I leave the field, walking past his bicycle on the way to the street.

Well, tomorrow the coven will be looking for him. Another young boy as food for the coven. Damn my fate, why? I think. Why is it that I have been chosen to find the meals for my cabal? Why not someone of greater strength.

I sigh again and disappear into the cool dawn.

Let's see - A Day at School Schizo-style... this will be tricky.

I woke up alone in the woods after wandering around by myself last night. I brought a bottle of fine red wine with me to drink a toast to the moon. I think I ended up drinking several toasts. Me and the moon had ourselves quite a party, it seems.

Anyway, as I said, I woke up alone. Beside me lay a note, written in silver on a scrap of pale parchment. It said, "I am ashamed of myself. I always am a little ashamed of myself on occasions like this. But it is a dangerous thing to do, to get drunk and expose yourself to the moon. I am afraid you have been Lorialeted, and the child you bear will be a Lorialet, that is, moonstruck. P.S. - I hope you enjoyed this night as much as I did."

"Damn," I muttered to myself. "How the hell am I going to explain this to my boyfriend?" I walked home and ate a big breakfast rich in Folic Acid, but it did me no good, because morning sickness forbade me to keep it. Damn that fickle moon.

Maybe it's just because I'm pissed about other things right now and I'm directing my anger at this wasted space of you making an ass of yourself.
But I hope you die. The world could use less people like you. You're ugly just by your words. And I hope that when you die everyone you ever knew pisses on your grave.

Re: Fine literary work

Sk8er has given us here a very interesting and deceptively deep piece of literature, and all anybody can do is to dismiss it (and him/her by extension) because this Sk8er is not part of the right virtual clique?
Perhaps the reason for this unqualified dismissal is more related to the editor's comment which set the mood and dictated the type of response which was expected from the less thoughtful herd and all were merely following suit, claiming the Nuremburg defence. While the observations of Morte and others required effort on their part, they are no less shallow than they allege the article to be, and thus fall into the trap so cleverly set by our author.
Speaking of our author, I notice that this piece contains one lower-case "i", the personal pronoun, a characteristic I have observed while reading the posts of a certain veteran member of this site. I will say no more, for risk of angering the elder ones, but instead I leave this matter to the intellects of the members.

But allow me to address the article itself, if you will.
The author left out several details, no doubt intentionally, which have led to many of you making assumptions and revealing less-than-rigorous thought on the part of all "white-hat" trolls and flamers that have posted responses to this.
First, the article refers to "the prom last night" but does not state that the article itself was written on the day it was posted, so it is very feasible that it was posted at a later date and indeed was written the morning after the Promenade Ball (aptly named, eh wot?) ritual.
Second, "a condom lay next to me" does not specify used or unused, although the word "doing" does certainly infer that a sexual act was experienced.
Third, the fact that this author is called Sk8er does not in itself infer that the author is a skater, or even male, since a female can "do" another female just as easily and the presence of a condom infers nothing in itself.
What nobody thus far has seemed to grasp is that this article is deceptively full of content, if you bother to get beyond the first glance.
Example: We see the idea that members of different social classes are equal despite their status, since the two subjects presumably had sex with each other and were from the "preppy" and presumably either skater or "rebel/hood" social castes, while on an athletic field. The lesson here is that all people are equal when they "get real", or maybe the author is saying that alcohol (other beverages come in six-packs, but the getting drunk reference implies an alcoholic beverage) is in itself either a social equaliser or an aphrodisiac.
Example: We see that the more elite social classes are controlled by their own rules, as evidenced by the note left by the female which says that she was disgusted by herself (no doubt because of repressive and dogmatic ideals) but admits to having a good time anyway. This speaks volumes on the subject of the conflict between real human sexuality and socio-religious mores, and specifically the harsher part of the double standard, that part which represses female sexuality as taboo while lauding "scores" for males.
Example: The author is amused at the foolishness of the duality exhibited by the note, and continues on with his or her life. This underscores the above point, because the author is obviously not traumatised by the incident in the way that the female was, probably due to the implied class difference. The author simply had a guilt-free good time and is more spiritually free (symbolised by the motorcycle here), while the uptight female has the idea that she did something wrong, an idea she gets from society and not from her own perceptions of pleasure or right and wrong.
Our author has given us much to think about here if we would only bother to look, and has expressed an incredibly intricate thought which has significant social ramifications, a

Let's see...

1) Pointless.

2) Too much wind and fire with no earth and ice to back it up...

3) Too many labels that emphasize deep, and irrational judgment. *twitch*

4) This story seems to lack descriptive and meaningful elements. *can easily be compared to no. 1 and 2*

5) Even if it had what number four had, and by all means, what is the point of bragging about this? Or better yet, were you honest at all?

6) Somebody is afraid of their shadow...and is crying wolf. >.>

What an adorable story!
