One Gothic site I hang on.... No names. But they ran a poll, should soft drugs be legalized, the options were yes, no, for medical use, and don't care. This is what I could not quite figure out the vote was overwhelming in favor of NO????
What is happinging to the free people of this country. I thought long and hard about just who would want to keep drugs illigal and this is all I could come up with:
The only people I know of tha would vote no are those that profit MORE from drugs being illigeal... Pigs, to keep there lousy uneducateded asses employed, Judges for the same reason, prision guards, same reason PLUS who else would hire those loosers, and the Shysters, obivious reason there, bread and butter again, now there is also the jobs of the DEA and FBI agents hell who would give them a job?? And not to mention all the drug counslors and people that work/run drug programs then there is P & P people, the list goes on of those that profit DIRECTLY from keeping drugs suppressed, the pusher is one of the LESAT of them and the only one that doesn't have a lobbying PAC.... Shit no wonder drugs are illigeal to goddamn many shitheads depend on it for there pitiful living.... The TRUE dregs of society those that prey on the weak FAR worse then the dealers do the Pigs and the Polititions.....
Your thoughts???? Are we adults capable of self determintaion and if we are donig no harm to others why the bloody hell can't we choose to live as we wish the addicts will BE addicts regardless of legality, HELL they NEED the addicts DESPERATLY to feed the HUGE industry that is the Justice Corp. of America....
What a load....

I'm fine with that. As long as it doesn't mess with me, everyone else is free to kill eachother or do drugs or whatever else you fancy.
And also, there are many, many more addictions out there than just the drugs... money, power, popularity, role playing games (*sheds a tear for his addiction*)...
It has just been so ingrained in our sense of morals that drugs are wrong, it is hard to change people's minds. The government didn't throw away billions of dollars without having an effect.

Well, you missed one nightside. Personaly, i think drugs should be legal. I'm 100% for peoples right 2 do whatver the fuck they want.
but theres one mindset you forgot to mention....mine
I hate drugs. No because I think people shouldent be allowed to use them. But because I think that there is so much more to life than allowing something else to control us. You bitched about the pigs and athoritys and whoever controlling us, but in the long run, drugs do the same thing. So i say. fuck drugs, fuck athority, fuck everyone but me, because I want to have as much control over this shitty world as possible, and i hate poeple who get in my way. And drugs are poeple who get in my way. Lets face it, if your high, you dont have the same control that you had before you were high. If you dissagree with that statement, then good - your helping to prove my point to the others. Whens the last time you met an ass-hole alcholic (perhaps a parent) who considers theirself to be an asshole alchoholic? People get blinded by their ailment. Blinded by the drugs. How many of you smoke? are you addicted? "of course not" bullshit.
Well, you can dissagree with my opinion all you want, but you cant dissagree with what supports my opinion:
-Drugs impare your brain (duh! thats why we like them!)
-If your brain is impared, you do not have as much control over yourself, or other situations as you had before
-Drug users choose to be controled by exterior forces. so they are hypacritical to bitch about athority.
When I'm at a praty where everyone else is high, alll i can think about is how easy it is to take advantage of all of them. And I do.
How easy it is to get them to give me their money, body, and then laugh to myself as i think about how i just took everything i can take from this worthles person and the best part is that they dont even know it, and may never.
LOL
They are just as worthless as everyone else on this planet.
