Lemmings on Parade: You can't fire me... I quit |

some of us... by genetic fluke... do not exist within the definition of Human... and I want nothing to do with it... The struggle for dominance in the wild... does not end in death in a majority of cases... I am sick of human kind... and being considered one...
My heart goes out to all in this... but this is our stupidity as a country coming back to bite us in the ass on this...
the answer is simple... to the rest of the world... we are a democracy... tehy believe that the actions of our leaders reflect the beliefs and feelings of our people... For the last 75 years... our country has practiced some pretty shdy and shitty things in other countries... so... as a whole, the world thinks that we support it... if it was one leader, not the people, in a democracy... that would have only happened with THAT leader... therefor... since we are a democracy, since our leaders keep this shit up... we must all support it...
someone... LITERALLY, just sent me this link... LINK we... are looking the wrong direction...
After some research in the news archive on campus... everytime Bin Laden has made an attack of any sort... HE HAS CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY... sometimes, even before the event happened... this time... he did not... and refuses any knowledge of the event...
NOW... believe it or not the rednecks of rural missouri have a good explanation for this... "He knows he screwed up BIG this time..." Well that seems credible on the surface... but his religious beliefs state that if he dies because of something he did on behalf of his god... he goes to the hand of that god... why change that this time???
Also... Fact Number one... Monday... the 10th... we cut something like 18 billion in military funding... the 11th, this happens... the 13th... we approve 20 billion in spending for the same purpose... something does not sit right... and I don't like it....
the american public... is spoiling for war... americans have killed people who are americans because they look like they are from that part of the world... Americans are saying that they ALL should be exterminated... Forgetting that innocent people are going to die... or... when told about the innocents... saying "SO???"
I... frankly... tire of this... I lost someone in this... but the people that are PISSED OFF... are not ones who lost... they ... have no stakes except that "they dared to insult the US..."... or they need to pay...
Fuck it... I am technically not human...(ask sometime, and I'll explain it).,.. but I formally tender my resignation from the Human Race...

Although I must admit, wiping my ass with Bin Laden was pretty fun, I am also sick of humanity. I still think we should arrest Bin Laden, I mean he did do a lot of other crap, and we can still question him about these attacks, but I'm not sure if he was behind the latest attacks. And before, when he did stuff, we didn't really want war, and now after the death of tens of thousands of people when we do want to fight, he may have had a sudden bout of mortality. Especially with a lot of Europe saying that they'll support us. Religious nut or not, when the gun is pointed at your face, you're gonna feel it.

I'm very glad my friend johnna sent this to me, I was wondering where to find this on the web, but it just came to my lap, easy as can be. Thank you johnna...
This pretty much sums up my feelings...a nice way to put ourselves in perspective from an "outsider"...and who says all canadians are stupid?
A TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES
We should appreciate this one. This, from a Canadian
newspaper, is worth sharing.
TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED
STATES
America: The Good Neighbor.
Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to a
remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as printed in the
Congressional Record:
"This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent,Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.
When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the
Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris.
I was there. I saw it.
When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States
thathurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities
were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.
The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans.
I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so, why don't they fly them?
Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American Planes?
Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon-not once, but several times-and safely home again. You talk about scandals, and the
Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at.
Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are
breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here. When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania
Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.
I can name you 5,000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.
Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those."
Stand proud, America!
This is one of the best editorials that I have ever read regarding the United States. It is nice that one man realizes it. I only wish that the rest of the world would realize it. We are seem to be blamed for everything, and don't get a thank you for the things we do. I would hope t
