I thought I'd add my side of this story since sindel is playing it down considerably.  It was far worse than she's making it out to be. I know she probably couldn't say much more without sounding like she was whining, and that's not her style, but I can fill in the blanks.

She got here late on saturday. They got a little lost trying to find my house, so I went out on the street to wait. They pulled up in the big brown van and annoyingman jumped out talking - incoherrantly. Then mom got out ranting about how they must be crazy for bringing her to see me.  We all went inside and spent some time trying to convince the psychos that I'm not psycho while they flung random vibes everywhere like they had no clue they were doing it.  Sindel just sat there looking embarassed as hell, and the poor boyfriend sat there like a scared puppy not saying a word. I tried to get him to go hide in my room and play my guitar but he didn't want to.  Litho looked terrified as well, and spent the whole time looking for a motel for them in the phone book and online.

We finally decided to all go get some pizza, and the only sit down pizza place I know of within driving distance is in downtown Bellevue. It's definately NOT pizza hut.  Picture it as a low end Beverly Hills Modern Italian restaurant right in the most class conscious part of the Seattle area.  We sat down and I chatted with the parents more, I have no idea what they said, I was trying to be diplomatic - but my grandmother's voice kept echoing in my head saying "class means not being mean to people you don't like".  It's a good thing grandma was there to remind me. Litho kept giving me looks of horror. I think most of the food ended up on their clothing, but we managed to finish. Sindel kept hiding her face every time her mother would do or say something embarassing (which happened a lot).  We finally left, and on the way to the motel Litho was like "I had no idea there were people with as little class as those 2".  Litho grew up in a little hick town about 20 minutes northest of Seattle, with nothing but rednecks everywhere.

When we finally got to the motel, we talked about more stupid stuff that I don't remember, and I pointed out some places on a map that they might want to see. Sindel got into a bathing suit and dragged us out to the pool. (Yes, everybody needs to be very jealous of me and Litho for seeing this).  In my head I was thanking her profusely for getting us out of there.  We sat by the pool and chatted with the boyfriend a bit while we watched sindel splash around.  The boy is a nice kid - a little harmless musician boy.

After about 4 minutes, annoying man comes out, strips down (his fatness cancelling out all the yummyness of sindel in a bathing suit), and jumps in the pool.  He chased her around for a second until she got annoyed and got out. We talked for a few until he got out, and we went back inside. Then made excuses and left.

Me and Litho got back to my place and just kept looking at each other in shock.  I wish I could remember all of the things they were talking about - I suppose I should have written this right afterwards, because I've blocked it all out of my mind.  Litho went home, and on her way out said "we need to do back massages soon".

So the next morning we had planned to take pictures all day.  Sindel called me and told me I'd have to come get them since their battery was dead.  So I came over and picked up her and her mom and gave her boy some sympathy, since he'd have to spend the day with annoyingman.

After listening to the mom whine for a while, Litho showed up and we started taking pictures against the wall in my living room.  Mine were coming out really bad, and I couldn't figure out why. Sindel looked great, and the camera was working fine, but there was no vibe. 

Then we went right outside my door and took pix up against the ivy.  They came out better (you guys should all see some of these clothes she has). Mom was still giving me "mom glare" and making comments, and telling Sindel how to pose. 

Then we went farther away to take the next batch, and all of a sudden they came out great. Me and Litho were like "it seems the pix come out better the farther we get from mom".  There was plenty of vibe, and everything was working great. Unfortunately, I lost that batch because of a computer glitch, but I got to see some of them before they disintegrated, and they were delicious. 

We did a few more batches farther away from mom, and they came out really nice.  Then one more batch in the house - it was coming out really bad - proving our theory.  Halfway through, annoyingman and the boy showed up being all noisy.  The rest of the pictures were worthless after that. I got about 1,000 pictures all together though - I'm not sure how many Litho got, but the ones of hers I've seen look amazing.

Annoyingman insisted that they were leaving right now, so they started packing up stuff. Me and Litho went out on the balcony to hide and watch.  The parents proceeded to get in a huge fight in my living room while we watched in shock.  Generally the fight was about annoyingman thinking we were making porn or something and calling Sindel a little whore and the mom calling him an immature jealous asshole.

Finally he rushed them out of there, and me and Litho sat down to catch our breath and contemplate the horror we just saw.  A few minutes later Sindel came back in looking very frazzled.  She came straight over to me and gives me a huge hug and apologizes profusely.  She tells us that they are still just sitting in the parking lot fighting, so she came back inside until they're done.  We finally had a peaceful moment to have a decent conversation and get reminded that Sindel is a great girl.  Not long later the mom came in and dragged her back out and Litho went home exhausted.  I passed out.

They were supposed to leave Monday morning, but I got a call on my cell towards the end of the work day saying that they're staying another night.  I message Litho and tell her, and we decide we'd love to hang out with Sindel and the boyfriend but would really rather avoid the nightmares like the plague.  Litho came over to my place after work, and we called Sindel to make plans. Our idea was to take her and the boy out for sushi, since she's never had it (poor deprived girl).  She asks the parents and of course they'll have none of that. Apparently mom would be ok with it, but jealous annoyingman would have a fit, so mom said no.  So we decided to just go over to their motel and hang out by the pool and avoid them.

We get there and Sindel and the boy are playing in the pool, and of course annoyingman is there making sure no sex happens while he's not looking (nevermind that this pool is public).  So we sit and watch for a while, figuring Sindel in a bathing suit makes up for having to talk to annoyingman.  Finally they get out of the pool, and grabbed some chairs and we glared annoyingman away.  Conversation was good, vibe was nice, but annoyingman finds an excuse to come back.  We glared him away again, and the boyfriend noticed him peeking over the hedge behind us evesdropping.  He came back again and we glared him away, but this time I set the timer on my watch.  He proceeded to come back exactly every 4 minutes until he got sick of spying on us and ordered us all to go back to the room.

We were ready to go at that point, but I really had to pee, so went back for a little while with them.  When I went in the bathroom, I could hear him out there yelling at her about how she's flouncing her body around like a little whore in front of complete strangers.  I wanted to hurl.  I figured he'd knock it off when I came out so I grabbed a chair and started talking to mom a little (grandmas words still echoing around my head). Sindel was showing us the clothes she got that day - they looked amazing on her of course.  The whole time, annoyingman would not shut up, if he wasn't saying something looked slutty on her, he was finding some other way to put her down and insult her.  I'm sure all of the comments below this are going to be saying how someone or other would have kicked his ass. Believe me, even non-violent Devin wanted to insert that chair I was sitting on into his nostrils, and I would have if I thought it would do any good - but it was obvious that it just would have made life much worse than it already was for Sindel. I figured it was bad enough how it was. Finally I looked at Litho and she was giving me a pleading look, so I made excuses and it was time to go.

Sindel said she'd walk me out, and we weren't about to leave the poor boy there with those creatures, so he came out with us too.  We stood out in front of the motel and talked about random things and just enjoyed the fact that the vibe was nice with good people once the bad ones were gone. (And admired her amazing new dress).  Then annoyingman appeared again. He made some excuse about leaving something on in the van and pretended to go check it.  We were all giggling about how now he's actually bothering to make excuses.  When he went back inside, we decided to stand a little to the side, out of view of the doorway.  We talked for a while more and sure enuf, he comes running out in a panic. I told him "she's fine, you really don't have to keep checking on her like this".  (Of course in my head I was thinking, don't worry, she's not fucking anybody since the last time you checked, you perverted jealous old fuck).  Of course he made some excuse, like he wasn't checking on her and said they had to go back inside.

We gave hugs and left. All the way home we were in shock. Half laughing about the whole thing, half traumatized by the vibe of it all.  When we got back to my house we gave nice long massages and tried to get rid of as much of the shmeng as possible. It helped, but not enough.  Litho ended up in the hospital with pneumonia the next day (weak lungs), and anyone who talked to me that week will remember what a mess I was.  I just feel bad for Sindel and the boy - they have to put up with them all the time.
