Geist, stick to the issue at hand... which is whether or not you agree with this person's critique. The body of a person's work here has nothing to do with how valid their observations are, and to make a personal ad hominem attack is neither welcome nor warranted. Perhaps this person will get around to submitting articles if their head is not bitten off the moment they try to contribute their opinion.
I do not need to be a musician/painter/poet to have a worthwhile opinion about music/painting/poetry. While we're talking about what we "can't stand", Someone once tried to use that "I've posted more than you have!" argument on me once here as well. Unless you're Devin or on the pantheon, I'm not aware of ranked opinions on this site.

Let me see if I understand you correctly. For me to have an opinion that, in your sight, is worth anything, I, as a new member, must submit something first. Or was it the fact that I didn't immediately offer repeat praise for something like the excellent physical descriptions?
Next time, then, I will parrot other comments, stifle any constructive critique, and stroll along my merry way.
