So haveiong a built in mediator is somehow worse than two people screaming and throwing things at each other? If the wor people are fighting, they'd fight regarless of the audience, at least in a trine, there is someone there to pick up the pieces and help remember what happened.

The reason I think that is because it happened to me. Maybe I'm a lousy moderator, but when multiple people are fighting and both are asking you to take their side, it's hard to get them both to see reason. Have you tried it?
*rereads what she wrote* Well, that was what originally made me think polyamory sucked. Now that I've been cheated on, I like it even less.
