Royal Family |
by Pixi | The royal family are so marvellous,
How can they be superfluous?
They ruled the country, made new laws,
Gave the civil servants chores,
You pledged allegiance to your King,
It was really such a simple thing!
Now those days are in the past,
I just knew it couldn’t last!
Now that MPs have their say,
We all must take the time to pray!
And as for America’s President,
Think of all the laws he’s bent!
The MP’s rule, a ‘monarch’s old,
The country rebels against being told
Just what to say and think and do,
I don’t wonder why! Do you?
In the future shines a light,
Showing us a glimpse, a sight,
Of a world where all are gay,
(Be careful using that word today!)
Merry, hopeful, joyful and
live in peace throughout the land,
MP’s are gone, a president’s banned,
A monarch’s old, we took in hand
The royal idiots of this land!
Don't kill me, I was only a naive little twelve year old when I wrote it and I thought it would be humourous to post it here. Kill it, not me! |
